I went out this morning to help a woman find a ring in North Andover. The woman was feeding bread to the birds off her deck and lost a big gold diamond ring in the process. She said the birds didn't even eat the bread either. I spent 15 - 20 minutes detecting the area and it eventually turned up. She insisted on some kind of reward, so I asked her to make a donation to the club. I'm glad it turned up as she was a wreck when I got there and in tears when I left from how relieved she was to have her ring back. It was great to get out and swing a detector for the first time in 6 months.
