GSTHC Hunt: Sept 15, Sanbornton NH

Parking near 387 - 389 Sanborn Rd, Sanborn NH

Large hay field just south of the center of “downtown” Sanbornton. Parking will be off Route 132, approximately 387-389 Sanborn Road, just behind the sheds.  Persis and Mike will help direct parking. For the field due to its location in town, we feel there may have been activity there for a couple hundred years. According to aerials from 1951, it hasn’t changed.

Note:  We need to do better at digging smaller holes and filling them in properly compared to our last hunt in Pittsfield.  If your digger is questionable (i.e like a CAT excavator) please bring a smaller / extra to use.  Also, dug items are to be removed and disposed of properly....thanks
