April 30th Hunt (Extra Hunt)

We're happy to provide an extra hunt this month. There is limited parking at this farm so it's important to RSVP by end of day Wednesday April 26.  

More details will be provided to those who RSVP.

This is a farm site in the Greenland/Newington area, which has been farmed by this family for five generations and has corn and hay fields. 

We will meet at a nearby big box store parking lot as a group and then proceed to three small parking areas at the farm. 

Depending on the number of RSVPs, we might need to carpool from the meeting spot.

The farmer expects that the corn fields might be tilled by the 30th (depending on weather), but that might mean the spreading of manure as well. We won't know for sure until the event.

The farmer has allowed dog walkers, birders and some metal detecting on the property, but there are about 100 acres of fields to continue our hunt for "treasure".
